Seeing Peace: The Exhibition

Staged in the main lobby of the general assembly, the exhibition manifested each artist's unique notion of Seeing Peace, from their cultural perspective, and how art reveals, heals, and transforms.

The show opened on Global Peace Day.

The artworks were two or three dimensional and of any media not constrained by the United Nations Gallery requirements.

In the spirit of tolerance, respect for divergent views, and for art, each piece was an open expression of the artist's views.

In San Francisco the exhibition occurred in the lobby of the War Memorial Building, where the UN Charter was signed.
